  • Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) is dedicated to providing cost-saving opportunities to customers related to energy efficiency. Each customer may claim up to two rebates per account in the amount of $500 per charging station. Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Menasha Utilities, GET CHARGED UP, dedicates funding to reducing the cost of purchasing and installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Applications for Level 2 and DC fast chargers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers may receive up to $1,500 per charger ((Maximum of 50% of the installed cost).

  • Customers receiving electricity from Sun Prairie Utilities may be eligible for a rebate of 50%, up to $1,500, for installing Level 2 dual port chargers. To qualify, the application and supporting documentation should be submitted within 90 days of purchase.

  • Wisconsin Electric Power (WE Energies) Business EV Charger Pilot – Offers credits to help pay for customer costs of utility upgrades and rebates for some customers for customer facility electric work. Minimum of four ports or 50 kW of connected charging capacity

  • WI Public Service's Business EV Charger Pilot Program offers credits to help pay for customer costs of utility upgrades as well as provides possible rebates for customer facility electrical work. In order to qualify, the customer must commit to installing a minimum of four ports, or 50 kW, of either Level 2, DC, or both types of charging stations.

Wisconsin Lighting Upgrade Incentives for Multifamily Properties

  • Focus on Energy, in partnership with Wisconsin utilities, offers prescriptive rebates for energy-efficient lighting upgrades in multifamily properties with four or more units. Eligible upgrades include:

    • LED lamps

    • LED downlight kits

    • Linear LED fixtures

    • Interior and exterior mogul lamps

    • Stairwell LED kits

    • Exit sign lighting

    These incentives are available for products purchased and installed between January 1 and December 31, 2025. To apply, download the incentive application and product information sheet from the Focus on Energy website.

  • For lighting upgrades that don't fit into the prescriptive offerings, Focus on Energy provides custom incentives. These are calculated on a case-by-case basis, considering the estimated first-year energy savings.   • Multifamily properties with at least 50% income-qualified tenants may be eligible for increased incentive rates. Income qualification can be verified at the Focus on Energy website. For more information, refer to the Multifamily Catalog.

  • In addition to lighting upgrades, the HEAR program offers rebates for installing energy-efficient electric equipment, such as heat pumps, insulation, air sealing, and upgraded electrical panels. This program is available to Wisconsin residents in multifamily buildings earning 150% of the Area Median Income (AMI) or less. To learn more, visit the Focus on Energy website.
