  • Ameren Missouri offers an energy efficiency program specifically for multifamily properties with three or more units. Eligible properties receive free energy assessments and may qualify for no-cost or low-cost upgrades like LED lighting in both common areas and individual units.   • Evergy provides a program for multifamily properties serving income-eligible residents within its Missouri service area. This initiative includes free installation of energy-efficient products, including LED lighting, low-flow showerheads, and faucet aerators. The goal is to lower energy use and utility bills while improving comfort and sustainability for tenants. Property owners can apply directly through Evergy’s program portal or by phone.

  • Liberty Utilities runs a similar program aimed at income-eligible multifamily households. It includes direct installation of efficient lighting and water-saving devices at no cost to property owners or residents. The program is designed to reduce energy consumption and help residents manage their utility costs more effectively.
