Entergy New Orleans Inc., through their eTech Program offers customers incentives for purchasing and installing EV charging infrastructure. Customers may receive a utility line extension credit of up to $200 per circuit along with a rebate of $2,500 per Level 2 charging port. Customers installing DC fast charging may receive up to $12,500 per port. Customers may apply after installation has been completed and expect to receive their cash incentive in approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

Louisiana Lighting Upgrade Incentives for Multifamily Properties

Cleco offers the Power Wise Commercial Programs, which provide financial incentives for upgrading lighting, HVAC equipment, and commercial kitchen equipment. For lighting upgrades, incentives are based on $0.16 per kWh reduced, with the potential to cover up to 100% of the project cost, up to a maximum of $25,000. Under the federal Inflation Reduction Act, Louisiana is developing two rebate programs to assist with energy efficiency upgrades:
Home Energy Performance-Based, Whole-House Rebate Program (HERO): Provides rebates ranging from $2,000 to $4,000 for individual households and up to $400,000 for multifamily buildings based on energy savings achieved through retrofits.
High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate Program (HEAR): Offers prescriptive rebates on a percentage of the cost for efficiency projects, with a rebate cap of $14,000, based on household income.
