  • The Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) offers various programs and incentives to promote energy efficiency in the state. These include federal tax credits for consumer energy efficiency, such as credits for geothermal heat pumps, small wind turbines, solar energy systems, and fuel cells in existing homes and new construction. Additionally, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development's Direct Housing Loans program provides low-interest loans to rural homeowners for critical home improvements, such as weatherization, insulation, and new heating systems. For more information, visit the Programs and Incentives page

  • The Kansas Energy Program assists state-owned government facilities interested in pursuing energy-efficiency projects through the Facility Conservation Improvement Program (FCIP). While this program primarily targets state-owned facilities, it may provide valuable resources and guidance for multifamily property owners seeking to implement energy-efficient upgrades.
