Duke Energy Indiana EV Charger Rebate
Duke Energy offers rebates of up to $500 to commercial customers for the installation of Level 2 EV charging stations at workplaces, multi-unit dwellings, fleets, or publicly available locations.

Indiana Lighting Upgrade Incentives for Multifamily Properties

AES Indiana provides rebates and incentives for qualifying new construction or capital improvement projects in multifamily properties with 12 or more units. Eligible upgrades include lighting, HVAC, mechanical, and kitchen equipment. The program offers no-cost energy assessments to identify opportunities for improved energy usage, installation of energy-efficient technologies, and post-installation follow-up to ensure performance and satisfaction. For customers on commercial rates, additional incentives may be available to help cover the cost of property improvements. Indiana is developing two rebate programs to assist with energy efficiency upgrades:
Home Efficiency Rebate Program (HOMES): Provides rebates up to $2,000 or 50% of the project cost for energy efficiency upgrades achieving at least 20% energy savings. Projects achieving greater energy savings or occurring in low-income households may be eligible for higher rebates. Government of Indiana
Home Appliance Rebate Program (HEAR): Exclusively for low- and moderate-income households to purchase high-efficiency equipment. Rebate amounts are set by federal legislation and include equipment such as heat pump water heaters, heat pumps for space heating and cooling, stoves, clothes dryers, and certain electrical upgrades.
Both programs are expected to become available to Hoosiers in 2025. Property owners can sign up for updates through the Indiana Office of Energy Development.

NIPSCO's Prescriptive Incentive Program rewards customers who replace inefficient systems with high-efficiency equipment on a one-for-one basis. Projects can include lighting products, space heating systems and controls, steam trap repair, replacement, and boiler burner controls. To apply, property owners can review the Prescriptive Measure list to ensure their project qualifies for incentives and download the Program Application from the NIPSCO website.
