Arizona Lighting Incentives for Multifamily Properties

  • SRP offers a program that helps multifamily property owners reduce energy use by providing incentives for efficiency upgrades. These may include replacing outdoor and common-area lighting with high-efficiency LEDs. The program includes free on-site assessments and can cover up to 75% of installed upgrade costs.

  • APS provides financial incentives to multifamily property owners for energy-saving improvements. The program supports lighting upgrades during construction or retrofits and rewards performance-based energy savings. Outdoor lighting fixtures can qualify if they meet efficiency standards.

  • TEP offers rebates and technical support to multifamily buildings for energy upgrades, including lighting. They provide assessments and help implement improvements in both residential units and shared spaces like parking lots and building exteriors.

  • Launched by the Arizona Governor’s Office of Resiliency, this program offers statewide rebates for energy-efficient upgrades in residential and multifamily properties. Lighting improvements—including outdoor fixtures—are eligible. Financial support is especially targeted at low- and moderate-income properties.
